Water Voices from Around The World receives first place Gold Award at world's largest international book awards competition. This award will be made public at a formal presentation at Book Expo America in Los Angeles on Friday, May 30th, 2008.
This award is in the 'Outstanding Book of the Year' category for the book “Most Likely to Save the Planet.”
Water Voices from Around The World is published in consideration and support of the UN's decade of water, and features 400 color photographs and over 100 letters and articles from 77 authors, including recipients of the Nobel Peace Prize and Stockholm Water Prize.
Water Voices is edited and published by long time water researcher, environmentalist, poet - William E. Marks, who is also featured in the new award-winning film: FLOW: For Love Of Water.
