Keep Nova Scotia Frack Free

Last fall, the Nova Scotia government established an independent review of hydraulic fracturing led by Cape Breton University President Dr. David Wheeler. Since then, the review has established a technical advisory group and an expert panel, and has recently released a “primer” on fracking.

Your voice is needed!

If you’re concerned about fracking and want a ban in Nova Scotia, the panel members need to hear from you.

Members of the public are being encouraged to make written submissions as part of the review. This submission can reflect your personal opinion about fracking and bring in your own experiences and perspectives. You can also submit peer-reviewed evidence to help inform and guide the panel.

You can make your submission quickly and easily with our online submission tool below. Use the sample letter provided or write your own to have an even greater impact.

Thank you for making your voice heard, and for helping to keep Nova Scotia frack-free!
