If you're in Montreal this weekend, see if you can make it to Journées Alternatives 2010 on Sunday. Claude Vaillancourt of ATTAC-Québec, a member organization of the Trade Justice Network / Réseau pour le commerce juste, will be speaking that morning at 11 a.m. on a panel about the Canada-EU free trade negotiations, alongside Christophe Aguiton of ATTAC-France. Claude and Catherine Caron of ATTAC have written extensively in Quebec about the CETA talks (Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement). They were recently featured in a July article on CETA in Politis (France) during the fourth round of negotiations in Brussels.
