AUDIO: Barlow on the tar sands protest on CBC-Radio’s As It Happens

Listen to Council of Canadians chairperson Maude Barlow talk about the Parliament Hill protest against the tar sands – and take on Sean Howard, a spokesperson for TransCanada, the company behind the Keystone XL pipeline.

When asked about concerns related to the Keystone XL pipeline spilling and polluting the Ogallala aquifer, Howard asserts there is, “the manufactured fear that is going on by a group of professional activists who are extremely well-funded and have absolutely no hesitation in completely misrepresenting the project…”

As It Happens host Carol Off challenges Howard on this, as does Maude. It’s worth listening to the debate! Go to http://www.cbc.ca/video/#/Radio/As_It_Happens/1492126828/ID=2145022714.
