Council of Canadians chairperson Maude Barlow addressed the Ontario Federation of Labour convention in Toronto this afternoon.
Earlier this morning, Maude Tweeted, ‘Off to speak at the Ontario Federation of Labour Convention in Toronto. Love my union sisters and brothers’. About an hour ago, someone at the convention Tweeted, ‘Esteemed activist Maude Barlow takes the stage at the OFL convention for a keynote address’. While another within the last half hour says, ‘Maude Barlow breaks down trade agreements pro investors not people or the environment’.
The Ontario Federation of Labour represents 54 unions and 1 million workers.
