Former Vice President of the Concordia Student Union, Yves Engler is an Ottawa and Montréal based activist and author. He has published seven books, including The Ugly Canadian: Stephen Harper’s Foreign Policy, which he toured across Canada with participation from several Council of Canadians chapters. Yves represents UNIFOR on the steering committee of the Trade Justice Network, which brings together environmental, labour, farmers, student, social justice, Indigenous and human rights organizations challenging the Canada-EU Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA).
