CBC Radio ‘Ideas’ host Paul Kennedy

On June 1-2, Council of Canadians chairperson Maude Barlow participated in the Freshwater Summit 2010 in Bracebridge, Ontario. More on that summit at http://www.2010freshwatersummit.org/speakers.htm.

The CBC Radio program ‘Ideas’ will broadcast ‘Speaking Truth to Power’ on June 24-25. The CBC website notes, “In the weeks before the G8 Summit in Muskoka, leading environmentalists and concerned citizens gather nearby to prepare a public statement about the crucial importance of fresh water to the future of our planet. Ideas host Paul Kennedy moderates the proceedings.”
