The Windsor Star reports that the Windsor Essex chapter of the Council of Canadians, Fluoride Free Windsor and other groups “asked (Lasalle) council to pass a motion asking Windsor to stop fluoridating its water. LaSalle buys its water from Windsor.”
But, “LaSalle council took the middle ground on the issue of fluoridation of drinking water Tuesday. Deputy Mayor Mark Carrick said there were ‘compelling arguments’ on both sides of the issue and council approved a resolution asking the province to offer an opinion.”
