The Times of India reports, “The France-based Veolia Water is passing through a grave financial crisis back in France. According to reports, the global economic slowdown has hit Veolia hard. It has even auctioned its regulated water business in the UK in June. Speculation is rife about Veolia pulling out from some of the 77 countries it is operating in.”
