CBC is reporting at this hour that the RCMP issued a public notice early this morning that they have closed Route 134 at Rexton, New Brunswick as well as Highway 11 between Rexton and Ste-Anne-de-Kent. A protest barricade is in place in this area against SWN Resources and fracking. There are calls for people to come together this morning at the site. Ossie Michelin tweeted this photo and says, ‘Police enforce injunction at barricade against fracking day before a counter injunction was to be launched.’ Read the news story.
