The Council of Canadians has produced a new report titled, Profit Is Not the Cure 2010: Is the Canadian economy sustainable without medicare?.
The 15-page report, written by Council of Canadians Board member and University of Manitoba professor Robert Chernomas, examines the continuing threats to Canada’s public health care system from for-profit service providers and looks at what factors are really driving health care costs.
