UPDATE: Barlow to speak in Lucerne, September 18

On September 18, Council of Canadians chairperson Maude Barlow will be challenging Nestle (which is headquarted in Switzerland) and promoting the human right to water at this event at the University of Lucerne, http://www.unilu.ch/deu/veranstaltungen_827761.html. Last March, we protested the University of Alberta granting an honorary degree to Peter Brabeck-Letmathe, the chair of Nestle, the largest food and water corporation in the world, http://canadians.org/blog/?p=13882 and http://canadians.org/blog/?p=14371.
