I’ve just finished a 1-hour conference call with about a dozen Council of Canadians chapters in British Columbia-Yukon to present, take questions and discuss the operational plan for our political work this coming year. Thank you to everyone who was able to participate! It’s very inspiring to know how great chapter activists are and what they contribute in their communities every day and to our collective work across the country! It was a 10 pm start for me (7 pm PT), but I feel completely energized!! Similar discussions – all very informative and helpful to our shared work – took place with Ontario-Quebec chapters (on September 10), Atlantic chapters (on September 19), and Prairies chapters (on September 20). I look forward to meeting with chapter representatives from across the country at our upcoming Chapter Caucus Day in Nanaimo, BC on October 26.
