Council of Canadians national chairperson Maude Barlow has just finished speaking to the thousands gathered on Parliament Hill to oppose Stephen Harper’s prorogation of Parliament.
Maude told those gathered that ‘this is what democracy looks like’ and implored Harper to look at the rallies across Canada today and to learn from them.
