Three years ago today (September 22), you and thousands of fellow Council of Canadians supporters helped to save Site 41 from becoming a garbage dump. You protected the land and the aquifer beneath it – which contains the purest groundwater ever tested – for future generations. To this day, the fight to save Site 41 remains an inspiration to all who believe we must protect our water, and a prototype for community action.
Today I share with you this newly-released video that celebrates this historic fight.
