Community Connect Event – A better future for Calgary

Municipal elections are nearly here! This is the time to consider not only who we want representing our communities, but also how we can build a better, healthier, more resilient Calgary.

On October 6th, join the Calgary chapter of the Council of Canadians and your neighbors to imagine a better, greener, more just future for Calgary and discuss how to achieve that in this election and beyond!

What: Calgary Community Connect
When: October 6th, 2021, 7 – 9 p.m.
How to join: https://us02web.zoom.us/meeting/register/tZEpd-yrqTMpGNG8B0j-fezLpSqqAZJcb7x1

We’ve been hearing from candidates about their vision for the future of Calgary. This event is your turn to discuss what you would like to see for our city. We aim to bring neighbourhoods together so they can collaborate to transform their communities.

Together, we’ll discuss existing initiatives to imagine the future of Calgary, talk as neighbours about tangible ways we can work towards a better Calgary, and connect that action to the municipal election.

Interested in inviting your neighbours to this event? Click here for a printable flyer that you can distribute to people in your ward, inviting them to the conversation.

We’re also launching a texting campaign to invite even more Calgarians to contribute their ideas. If you’re interested in joining this campaign, please email ckruszewski@canadians.org!

Looking forward to connecting with you!
