Ottawa chapter meeting

Tuesday, December 10, 2019 - 19:00

The Council of Canadians invites you to a special meeting to renew our Ottawa Chapter.

Council of Canadians chapters meet and work together on a regular basis and in a democratic manner with the goal of participating in the Council’s national campaigns and local social justice initiatives. Chapter activists participate in more than 50 chapters in communities all across Canada.

Local chapters are the heart and soul of the Council of Canadians. When you and your neighbours come together to make a difference in your community, you can accomplish anything.

Come out and meet with other Council supporters from the Ottawa area to discuss the pressing issues this community is facing and what we can do together about them. The meeting will feature several Council of Canadians staff, including Climate Campaigner Dylan Penner who will lead a discussion about how to implement a Green New Deal in Ottawa.
