Red Deer: Public Panel Discussion

The Red Deer Chapter of the Council of Canadians invites you to attend a panel discussion on pharmacare, proportional representation, trade and water. Chapter members are active in our community, pushing for positive change on all of these issues and more. Join us for an interactive discussion and learn more about these issues and how you can get involved!

When: Saturday, September 16 from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m.
Where: Downtown Branch of the Red Deer public library, 4818 - 49th Street (Map)
Admission: $10 per person ($5 for low income, seniors and students)


Brenda Corney is the President of the Friends of Medicare (Red Deer Chapter). Her passion for medicare began at a young age in the 60s with the movement for universal health care that was led by Tommy Douglas. She served as a nurse for 28 years.

Joel French is the Executive Director of Public Interest Alberta and has worked extensively on election and advocacy campaigns in Alberta.
