- Lois Frank, a member of the Blood Reserve in southern Alberta who was arrested protesting fracking two years ago (the charges were later stayed), a Lecturer/Researcher in the Native American Studies Department at the University of Lethbridge, and a board member of the Council of Canadians
- Larry Hubich, president of the Saskatchewan Federation of Labour
