Thanks to your support we raised $14,000 and aired this 30-second ad four consecutive nights on CBC's The National starting Monday, August 14 to coincide with the start of NAFTA talks.

Chapter 11, the investor-state dispute settlement (ISDS) process in NAFTA, allows corporations to sue federal governments if new domestic laws are enacted that restrict corporate profit-making – even if those laws are needed to protect the health and safety of people and the environment. Canada is by far the most sued country under NAFTA by corporations exploiting ISDS provisions.
