Prentice questioned on Council energy day action concerns

If you go to the CPAC website http://www.cpac.ca/forms/index.asp?dsp=template&act=view3&pagetype=vod&lang=e&clipID=2329 or our energy campaign multimedia web-page at http://www.canadians.org/publications/audio/energy/index.html, you can see the video of the energy day of action delivery of ‘Dark Side of the Boom’ DVDs to Parliament Hill, MP Linda Duncan accepting them, and Environment Minister Jim Prentice being questioned about our concerns.

As noted on the CPAC website, “The Council of Canadians petitioned Members of Parliament to prevent tar sands exemptions from any climate change agreement between Canada and the US.” You’ll see this on the right-hand side of the page. The video takes a few minutes to load, you’ll get an introductory CPAC commercial, and then you can press the ‘next’ icon until you get 59 minutes into the video – that’s where our coverage begins.
