Together we will take on corporate power, like Nestlé’s bottled water grabs, and be an even stronger advocate for the protection of our lakes, rivers and drinking water. We will support communities taking on Big Oil & Gas, whose pipelines and fracking operations are fueling the climate crisis and are a direct threat to local watersheds. We will challenge trade agreements, which are really corporate rights deals, that benefit big business and harm our families and communities. We will support public health car and amplify the call for a national pharmacare program so that the most vulnerable in our society don’t have to choose between groceries and the prescription drugs they need to live.
This is the positive social change and concrete action you drive as a Council of Canadians supporter, and I can’t thank you enough.
