Our Demands
We are calling on the Canadian government to:
- Discontinue all negotiations and actions that are leading Canada toward deeper integration with the United States and call a royal commission on the issue.
- Invoke Article 1905 of NAFTA in response to the United States’ refusal to comply with softwood lumber rulings.
- Develop a Canadian energy strategy.
- Update Canada’s National Water Policy.
- Protect public healthcare from privatization.
