We extend a warm invitation to you to join with other Yukoners for a special event on Earth Day: Renewing Our Connections with Mother Earth on Tuesday, April 22, 2025.
The Visitor Information Centre on 2nd Ave has donated space for a variety of afternoon and evening activities, including music, crafts, films and facilitated discussions, free food, and more – through which we can express our gratitude, sorrow, and hope for the planet!
The event will not have a formal opening ceremony or speeches. We will gather in Rotary Park at 3:00 p.m. and enjoy a music filled walk to the Visitor Centre. At 3:30, we will take part in the indoor activities at the Visitor Information Centre, which will wrap up at 7:00 p.m.
The event is designed to work well as a “drop-in” experience for the public, so we do hope you will join us at some point during the event.
Feel free to download and share the poster. You can also find more details at this link.
