From The Ground Up
Fighting AI Data Centres
2-3 pm EST
Thursday, June 25, 2026

Join us at 2 pm (EST) on Thursday, June 25th, to hear directly from grassroots organizers across Canada who are standing up against Big Tech CEOs and their forced roll-out of AI data centres.
We’ve invited grassroots organizers from across the country to share their wins, the challenges ahead, and what you can do to help.
The Civil Society Summit on Tech Justice will also share a new toolkit offering everyday people a framework to resist data centres that threaten people, planet, and democracy.

Voices From the Ground:
- Vancouver: Torin LaRoque (No AI Vancouver)
- Alberta: Cameron Caughlin (Alberta Anti AI Group)
- Hamilton: Cadence Weapon and Nick Tsergas
- Burk’s Falls: Caroline Brooks
- Lorneville: Chris Watson (Save Lorneville)
PS – Communities across Canada (Turtle Island) are invited to initiate their own decentralized actions on the National Day of Action against AI Data Centres on Saturday Jun 27, 2026.
