Bill 32 – the Waste Disposal Site 41 in the Township of Tiny Act, 2008 – is expected to be voted on in the Ontario Legislature on Thursday November 19.
The Council of Canadians is supporting this private members bill.
In an open letter sent to Ontario MPPs, Council of Canadians chair Maude Barlow said, “This act will protect forever the Alliston aquifer and the purest groundwater ever tested, which lies beneath the proposed dumpsite at Site 41.”
