On Wednesday June 10, Colombian president Alvaro Uribe will be speaking at the International Economic Forum of the Americas, also known as the Conference de Montreal:.
The Council of Canadians has been working with many groups to stop the proposed Canada-Colombia free trade agreement. For more on this please go to http://canadians.org/action/2009/9-Apr-09.html.

Groups have begun to organize against the Conference de Montreal:, and the Council of Canadians will be there to raise these issues of concern. More details to come as plans emerge.
