Council of Canadians supports the Act on Climate march, April 11 in Quebec City

The Council of Canadians supports the Act on Climate march being organized for Saturday, April 11 in Quebec City.

The mobilization website states, “Act on Climate will show Canada’s premiers and leaders of the federal opposition parties that Canadians demand real action on climate: from stopping the expansion of the tar sands and the pipelines that carry them to investing in clean energy solutions and green jobs that make us proud.”

The mobilization is supported by, “a Quebec-led but pan-Canadian coalition of environmental groups, students, unions, First Nations, and grassroots organizers.”

We will be encouraging our supporters within travelling distance of Quebec City to participate in this critical day of protest to demand climate justice.

For more information, please see the Act on Climate march website here.
