Headway in the fight against fracking in Atlantic Canada

There is promising news in the efforts against fracking in the Atlantic provinces of Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, and Newfoundland & Labrador!

Yesterday, the government of Nova Scotia promised to ban the importation of fracking wastewater (they also have a de facto moratorium on fracking in place); a legislative committee on Prince Edward Island has just recommended a moratorium on fracking; and Newfoundland & Labrador recently implemented a moratorium on fracking following concerns that drilling could take place near Gros Morne National Park.

We have a long way to go still, so keep up the fight!
