NEWS: Comox Valley chapter water tasting and film screening, March 22

The Comox Valley Record reports that, “The Comox Valley Water Watch Coalition and the Council of Canadians, Comox Valley chapter, will host two opportunities for residents of the Comox Valley to sample drinking water from each of the nine local water systems. (On March 22, World Water Day) from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., water from each supply source will be available for people to sample at the park beside the Courtenay courthouse on England Avenue between Sixth Street and Cumberland Road… From 7 to 9 p.m., water-tasting will take place at the BCGEU building, on the corner of Fitzgerald and Cumberland Road. The entrance is at the rear of the building, and the meeting room is on the second floor. The film Water Sacred and Profane will be shown.”
