Congratulations to the Council of Canadians Delta-Richmond chapter!! The South Delta Leader reports, “The votes are in, and readers of the South Delta Leader made their choices of what they like best about the people, places and a whole lot more in Ladner and Tsawwassen in our annual ‘Best Of’ survey. Best Activists Group: Gold – Burn’s Bog Society; Silver – Save the Southlands; Bronze – Council of Canadians.” The Delta-Ladner chapter has inspired us with their active opposition to the Deltaport expansion; the South Fraser Perimeter Road; and the proposed foreign trade zone.
