Last night Council of Canadians chairperson Maude Barlow was in Grand Rapids, Michigan for the third stop of her 7-city Great Lakes tour.
About 200 people gathered at the Frederik Meijer Gardens and Sculpture Park for the event. Michigan-based FLOW for Water chair Jim Olson introduced Maude to the audience. There was also a dinner, live music, a silent auction and more.
It all took place at the ‘Western Michigan Needs Water’ Earth Day Celebration organized by the Western Michigan Environmental Action Council.
