Help stop the wrongful deportation of Jose Figueroa and his family.
“Jose Figueroa is a married father of 3 children and a 13 year resident of Langley BC. In May, 2010, the Immigration and Refugee Board ordered he be deported claiming Jose’s past membership with his student union, in El Salvador in the 1980’s, working to oppose a violent military dictatorship, made him a security threat. This decision shows a flaw with the immigration law that it is so broad that innocent persons such as Jose can be mistakenly deported.”
