The film Nestle doesn’t want you to see! On Monday October 15, Maude Barlow will be in Guelph for a special screening of ‘Tapped‘. This documentary takes a critical look at the negative environmental and social impacts of the bottled water industry. Last month, our allies at Wellington Water Watchers organized an outdoor documentary series in partnership with the City of Guelph, with ‘Tapped‘ one of the films scheduled to be screened. When Nestlé Waters heard about this, they sent a letter of objection to the city which then cancelled the event. In response, the Council of Canadians, Wellington Water Watchers and the Central Student Association will be showing the film at the War Memorial Hall at the University of Guelph starting at 7:15 pm.
