More than 100 tents have been set up in Square Victoria for Occupons/ Occupy Montreal. The occupation is located in the financial district of the city – and just blocks from the Indignez-Vous! conference.
To get there from the conference, turn right when you leave the hotel and walk along Rue de La Gauchetiere Ouest.
Then turn right again at Cote du Beaver Hall (where the demolition of several buildings is taking place) and you’ll see the occupation begin about a block down the road.
The general assemblies at the occupation take place at 6 pm on weekdays and at 3 pm on weekends.
