The summer issue of Canadian Perspectives is now available!
Canadian Perspectives editor Jan Malek writes, “This issue features reflections on the recent federal election results, the proposed North American Security Perimeter, CETA’s high toll on health care, and information about the Great Lakes. There is a profile of our board member, John O’Connor, that shares his experiences as a doctor in Fort Chipewyan, chapter action updates, and much more.”
The new summer issue of Canadian Perspectives is now available online at http://canadians.org/publications/CP/2011/. (Back issues of Canadian Perspectives can be found at http://canadians.org/publications/CP/.) Members will also be receiving a hard copy of the newsletter in the mail once the Canada Post labour dispute is over (to read Council of Canadians chairperson Maude Barlow’s letter of solidarity with CUPW, see http://www.cupw.ca/index.cfm/ci_id/12989/la_id/1.htm).
Please also look for our new membership survey. Jan notes, “We also have a new initiative in this edition in the form of a 2011 Membership Survey, which our Development Team is going to use to help understand and better serve our members’ needs.”
