VIDEO: Council challenges CETA on RDI

Yesterday, Council of Canadians activist Meera Karunananthan was on RDI (Radio-Canada French-language television) discussing the Canada-European Union Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement, the privatization of water services, and our new joint report with CUPE on this issue. The report – Public Water for Sale: How Canada will privatize our public water systems – was also recently noted on the website of the prestigious French news magazine Le Monde diplomatique. Le Monde diplomatique has a web-based readership of about 2.4 million readers worldwide.

The Council of Canadians will be intervening in the sixth round of CETA talks in both Brussels and Strasbourg the week of January 17-21. More on that soon.
