Earlier this month, TV Ontario announced that it will broadcast ‘Water on the Table‘ on March 21 at 9 pm and March 28 at 10:30 pm. As noted in their media release, “Filmmaker Liz Marshall follows Canadian activist Maude Barlow as she campaigns against the privatization of water and tries to bring attention to how industry is polluting the water table.” The March 21 screening will air just after ‘The Agenda with Steve Paikin’ (8 pm-9 pm), which draws about 100,000 viewers an evening. In October 2010, the film was named the best Canadian feature at the Planet in Focus film festival. The film’s website is at www.wateronthetable.com.
