It was wonderful to join with the Winnipeg chapter at the Bonnie Raitt concert yesterday at the Burton Cummings Theatre. It was a natural fit given Bonnie Raitt’s activism in social justice and sustainable energy. Mary Robinson, Ken Harasym, Hannah Muhajarine, and myself handed out materials on water protection, pipelines, and a just transition to renewable energies.
It was fun to run into friends like Cuyler Cotton who works in solidarity with Shoal Lake 40.
Bonnie Raitt is currently on tour and our Edmonton chapter will be tabling at her concert in Edmonton.
