The Keep Transit Moving Coalition held a one-hour federal townhall on August 31st, 2021 consisting of candidates from all federal parties to discuss the issues facing public transit during the 2021 federal election.
Candidates who attended:
- Jonathan Wilkinson, Liberal Party Candidate for North Vancouver and Environment Minister
- Elizabeth May, Green Party Candidate for Saanich – Gulf Islands and former leader of the Green Party of Canada
- Avi Lewis, NDP Candidate for West Vancouver – Sunshine Coast – Sea to Sky Country

The Keep Transit Moving Coalition is a national forum of partners who rely on public transit, advocate for public transit, and work in the transit sector.
The membership of this coalition includes a range of partners in public transit and social movements. The coalition aims to represent organizations from a diversity of geographical locations in Canada.
